MUSIC MONDAY (Local Artist Alert)

Myke Eazy (Michael Sims) has been writing and singing music since the age of nine. His whole family were vocalists and enjoyed music, so a house full of singing didn’t seem that special to him. So it was not until he reached college where he realized just how much promise his own musical talent held for him. He recently penned his first song for his new album entitled "Love" and posted the track on Twitter and Facebook. He soon had over 15k twitter followers and a new, fast-growing fan base.
Michael’s music has a rich blend of beats, harmony and soul that takes his R&B sound to a new level. His inspiration comes from music icons Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Tank, Kanye West and Frank Ocean. “My art is unique, fresh, and new. It isn't trying to be like anything else out there right now so comparison is futile. My sound is all my own and though my brand is still in its formation, it is growing thanks to people who appreciate the music,” said Eazy.
“I am very excited to bring to you a fresh sound and a new brand! The first project is entitled "I Can Do Anything" and is available on iTunes as well as many other online music stores! I am an advocate of encouraging others that they too can do anything that they set their minds too!” Eazy added.
