THROWBACK THURSDAY: Scared Straight Edition

What up Goons! Walked into Walmart yesterday & realized it's about that time for everyone to start preparing for Halloween.  Whether you have kids or you are a big kid at heart, Halloween is the best holiday to go all out, dress up, carve pumpkins, decorate the house, watch scary movies, all while pigging out on your favorite candy (hints why I like to call it the Dentists Holiday)!  Anywho, in honor of this fun filled holiday coming up, I decided to throw a few throwbacks your way, that may help you get in the spirit & bring out the child in all of us.

    Ok I'm from Chicago and it usually snows on Halloween. Growing up I loved the power rangers, and my fondest memory is when I got to be the blue ranger on Halloween! The reason why I remember this so vividly is because I wanted EVERYONE to see my costume.... So I didn't wear a coat. And I wanted my costume to be authentic..... So I didn't wear underwear beneath it. Might I remind you that it was snowing lol. I froze my little ranger ass off haha. Good times #MykeEazy

    One year when I was real young like 6 or 7, I remember not wanting to stop trick or treating to use the bathroom b/c I figured that moms wouldn't let me go back out if I came in so I low key wet my costume & kept tricking. Ended up getting punished when I got home but still had a good ass time!

    Before saying candyman 3x, there was saying bloody mary. I never did it but I heard of a few people running out of the bathroom screaming. Nothing like a Goosebumps book where you can choose how the story ends up by turning to a certain page.

    Halloween was usually good to me. I came home with plenty bags of candy 'cause I was a cute kid. Somehow my sister profited off my stash. Smh

      I use to tear up my sisters candy once I was I was too old to trick or treat...I no longer abide by the too old to tick or treat rule! & Bloody Mary was THAT chick back in the day tho...bathrooms across America were too live thanks to her!

    Pssssht im not sitting in no bathroom with the lights off PERIOD!!!....I get scared when the automatic lights turn out when im in there...dropping kids off at the pool lol...but im not much of a scary movie watcher...they all bore me...except for the Saw series
